LYNMAR NEWS: SEPTEMBER 2008

By the time you read this all of our eight indoor courts will have been resurfaced. We have heard from many members that the newly resurfaced courts are playing extremely well.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience during the court resurfacing. I know that the resurfacing may have inconvenienced some players but everyone agreed - in the long run - it is terrific that we got the courts done.

I would also like to give a special "thank you" to Vicky Mediate for doing a great job of rescheduling everyone during this time. It was a lot of work and a lot of pressure, and I believe Vicky handled it beautifully. We have also resurfaced the racquetball courts and gym and - again - appreciated your patience while facilities were closed for a few days - it's been well  worth it.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the ownership group for their continued commitment to help make Lynmar a quality club again. They continue to provide exceptional leadership and financial support. With their help we are making great strides in bringing Lynmar back to the glory days of old.
