Tennis League Update
... USTA Mixed Doubles recently
concluded and Lynmar’s 6.0 team,
captained by Kittie Frankenberg,
finished 4-2, only one set away from
first place. There's more summer action
in store, if you sign up for CTA Women’s
Summer Daytime by
July 11 and ITA Fall Mixed
Doubles by July 18.

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis on Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am on
outside court 1. Sign up at the front desk
for this new high energy program that
will help the fit person play tennis and the tennis person get fit. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen!
Team Lynmar
... took fourth place at the recent
Pepsi Cup Club Racquetball Championships
in Denver. Leading the roster was Men's
Open singles winner Anthony Herrera, who
also paired with club pro Eddie Meredith
to win the Men's Open Doubles.
Summer Swim Lessons ...
Introductory, fundamental and advanced levels of
instruction are offered, in a series of four
sessions throughout June and July.

A Word to the Wise ... The
Colorado Springs Police have issued
citywide neighborhood alerts (which
include the Lynmar area) that advised:
As a friendly reminder to the
citizens of our community, please
remember to remove all valuables
(purses, wallets, lap-tops, school
books) from inside your vehicles when you
leave your car. Recently we have taken
several reports where the victims have
only left their cars unattended for a
short amount of time and the criminals
were able to successfully break out
their car window, remove the purses and
other valuables, and leave the scene
undetected. [
